5 Second of Summer New Album Titled Sounds Good Feels Good

For the lovers of pop punk music certainly isn’t foreign again when hearing the name 5 Second of Summer (commonly abbreviated as 5SOS). Bands from Australia which was formed in 2011, will release a new album titled "Sounds Good Feels Good". This album will be released on 23 October 2015. This second album is a continuation of the previous album, titled "5 Seconds of Summer" (2014) that successfully received a positive response from music lovers and also sold in the market with a sold over 3 million copies worldwide. To repeat such success in their first album, 5 Second of Summer spent 3 months in the studio for the album "Sounds Good Feels Good". In this new album, they worked again with producer John Fieldmann which is someone who ever produced their first album. as we all know that John Fieldmann is a vocalist and guitarist of the band Goldfinger. He also had produced bands like All Time Low, Good Charlotte, The Used, Panic! at the Disco, Papa Roach, Black Veil Brides, Sleeping with Sirens and many more. As a producer and songwriter, John Fieldmann has sold 34 million albums worldwide. In addition to John Fieldmann, 5 Second of Summer was also helped by other musicians such as Benji Madden and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte and legendary rocker Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue.

Speaking about the new album, 5SOS said that they will make changes, especially in terms of the use of sound louder and also the use of the guitar sound is more dominant. It’s they do in order to create a bond between them and the audience become more interactive when they performed the song on stage. so the album will sound louder than their first album that sounds more soft. The changes they are probably also meant to get rid of the label boy band who often pinned the international media to them. label as a boy band obtained because 5SOS several times on stage with One Direction. However, they are often denied when referred to as a boy band and considers such labeling to make them look incompetent. In spite of it all, 5 Second of Summer are ready to release their new album and has also published a cover for the album Sounds Good Feels Good. The cover of Sounds Good Feels Good themed punk with graffiti style with doodles image around the name of the album like a heart and wolves dominated by black, white and yellow.

Sounds Good Feels Good contains 14 songs on the standard edition. And in this album there is a song called She's Kinda Hot. This song became the first single on the album and was released on July 17, 2015. She's Kinda Hot became a marker changes 5SOS musicality on the album. But when listening this song we will get a similarity with the song entitled Teenager once popularized by My Chemical Romance. It is also recognized by members of 5SOS. They consider such similarities due to similarities in use of the composition of the 12 bar blues and the key may be used equally. The song She's Kinda Hot briefly into the spotlight with position 22 in the Billboard Hot 100. They are back in the spotlight when it released the music video for their latest single titled She's Kinda Hot in August last. She's Kinda Hot video also won the award for Song Of The Summer of MTV Video Music Awards (2015). Then they also released their second single titled Hey Everybody! on 9 October 2015. A song that can put you in a good mood, bringing fun and calming energy, and makes us think positively and make things easier. Hey Everybody! invites us to sing together in a smooth pop punk.

Hopefully album Sounds Good Feels Good can bring a band whose members Luke Hemmings (vocals), Michael Clifford (guitar), Calum Hood (bass) and Ashton Irwin (drums) back to regain success, given the songs they have is a song that is classified easy to listen to and very friendly to the radio.
