Bring Me The Horizon Released New Album 2015 titled “That's The Spirit”

Bring Me The Horizon has released a new album entitled "That's The Spirit" on September 11, 2015. "That's The Spirit" is the first album under the auspices of the label Columbia Records after they left their previous label Epitaph Records. Process of recording material album "That's the Spirit" performed at Black Rock Studios, located in Santorini, Greece with produced by two members of Bring Me The Horizon, namely Jordan Fish and Oli Sykes. While the process is finished, mixing is done in London, England, and mastering in New York, USA. the album "that's the Spirit" is the fifth album after their last album release in 2013 and entitled "Sempiternal" and has sold more than half a million copies worldwide.

Along with the increasing age of the band members and references music they listen to, usually also affect the band's musicality. Sometimes the music they have slowly started to change. As with Bring Me The Horizon which slowly began to leave metalcore genre who had made his name. These changes can be felt on every album they release, especially on the album "Sempiternal" (2013). They add a lot of elements of electronic music, ambient pop, orchestral and acoustic music. The entry of Jordan Fish on the position keyboards and the departure of guitarist Jona Weinhofen also have a significant impact on the change in the musical Bring Me The Horizon. The changes most noticeably is vocalist Oliver Sykes who is no longer using the technique screaming when singing. These changes make Bring Me The Horizon reap a lot of negative and positive criticism. There is support for change music Bring Me The Horizon and some are disappointed to this change. Perhaps the change of musicality Bring Me The Horizon is intended to create a different and make it look more fresh. By carrying out music more friendly to the ears of some people, it seems Bring Me The Horizon wants to expand their market share music intended to be more global and to get new fans in their stretcher genre now. Significant changes can also be viewed on the album "That's The Spirit" brings more types of alternative rock music and sounds softer. The album will be very different from previous albums such as album 'Count Your Blessing "(2006)," Suicide Season "(2008) and" There Is Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It "(2010). Third album seem more powerful, hard and make people who hear it want to continue to headbang.

"That's The Spirit" into a musical evolution towards a new era for Bring Me The Horizon. This fifth album has a concept on the theme of dark moods of life and a reflection of a feeling of depression and struggle to get out of the situation. It can be seen on a single Drown which feels very emotional. Drown is a song that sounds like pop punk, more melodic and very catchy. Keyboards sound very dominant in this song. In addition to Drown there is still another single titled Happy Song which was released on July 12, 2015. Since the release of Happy Song get a good response to the first rank on the iTunes rock charts in the US, UK, Australia, and some other countries. Happy Song is very dominant with elements of electronic music as well as having heavy guitar riffs. This song begins and ends with the sound of children shouting the word "SPIRIT, Spirit, Let's hear it, Let's go!". In this song the vocalist Oliver Sykes didn’t use technique growling and only occasionally showed his gravelly voice. Furthermore, there is a song called Throne which was released on July 23, 2015 last. This song dominant with electronic rock with vocal sounds hoarse and heavy, making the Throne has a voice that sounded like Linkin Park. Throne also briefly occupied the Top 20 at Active Rock radio. Then there is the third track on the album is titled True Friends. In the song True Friends there is a little scream some parts of the song and have a deep drum. songs that have been mentioned above is part of the album "That's The Spirit" that the overall total of 11 tracks and through the songs that have been released can describe the type of music of the whole album.

Changing the musicality of the band whose members Oliver Sykes (vocals), Lee Malia (lead guitar), Jordan Fish (keyboards), Matt Kean (bass guitar), and Matt Nicholls (drums) deserve our appreciation and supported due to changes in musicality is their right. maybe they feel comfortable with their new musical now and hopefully "Brithish Best Band 2015 Kerrang magazine" Bring Me The Horizon can still produce quality work that continues to be one of the best metalcore band.
