P.O.D Release New Album "The Awakening"

Payable On Death or more commonly known as a P.O.D finally released a new album entitled "The Awakening" on 21 August 2015 by T-Boy / Universal Music Enterprises. This is the tenth studio album for POD after last released an album titled "SoCal Sessions". "SoCal Sessions" is an album that contains some of the most popular songs belong to P.O.D is sung in acoustic version.

Process of recording album "The Awakening" was done in a studio in Los Angeles, assisted by producer named Howard Benson. For P.O.D fans must have been familiar with this producer. Howard Benson is a person who has produced the P.O.D album like "The Fundamental Elements of Southtown (1999)" and "Satellite (2001)". Both the album is the most successful album and the best-selling in the market to get a title as platinum album. The return of Howard Benson as producer is expected to bring album "The Awakening" back to success. Howard Benson has also been producing the band include My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects, Hoobastank, Flyleaf, Daughtry, Seether, Theory of a Deadman, Three Days Grace, and Skillet.

Christian metal band whose members Sonny Sandoval (vocals), Marcos Curiel (guitar), Traa Daniels (bass guitar) and Wuv Bernardo (drums) says that their latest album has a slightly different material from previous albums. In the album "The Awakening" there are ten songs, some of which collaborate with other musicians such as Maria Brink (In This Moment) in the song Criminal Conversations and Lou Koller (Sick of it All) in the song Revolucion. POD has also released the single and music video titled This Goes Out To You. Video This Goes Out To You was directed by filmmaker based in San Diego Gavin Filipiak with a shot in the hometown P.O.D.
